Altar Ministry

If the Lord has given you a heart to assist others at the Altar with prayer, salvation, or with someone just needing encouragement as the Lord works in their heart, then please conside becoming a part of this ministry. 

Children's Ministry

The children of New Life Assembly of God Church join with the adults during worship service. We think that it is important for children to become acclimated with the sanctuary and begin early in their development to experience praise, worship, and reverence for the Lord.  The children are dismissed to attend children’s church class before the preaching of the sermon. In class, they are engaged in learning about God and participating in scripture readings, prayer, arts, crafts, and other activities to gain further understanding of the lesson.  If the Lord has given you a heart for teaching and helping to develop children spiritually, please consider interviewing for volunteer opportunities in the Children’s Ministry.

Christian Literature Ministry

Do you love to read Christian Literature, or better yet, share great Christian literature with others. If so, this ministry may be a great fit for you. We will be developing a small area in our church to serve as a mini-library where the congregation may either donate God-centered literature or check out literature for their personal reading. This ministry will maintain the inventory of Christian Literature and help others with the check out / book return process.

Evangelism Ministry

If you would like to be part of a ministry that focuses on sharing the gospel with others, please consider being a part of this ministry. There are multitudes in the Northeastern Pennsylvania area who still need to hear the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Hospitality Ministry

Has the Lord given you the gift of hospitality? If so, we would love to have you consider becoming a part of our hospitality ministry.  This ministry is engaged in greeting, welcoming visitors, and answering general questions about the church.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

If the Lord has given you have a heart and passion for prayer and intercession, please complete a ministry application to become involved in this ministry from its inception.

Sound / Audio Team Ministry

The Sound / Audio Team Ministry manages the sound and audio equipment during all parts of the church service.  Since many church systems are different, please know that if the Lord is leading you to explore opportunities in this ministry that you will need to receive training, and should have some prior experience with audio systems in a church environment.

Sunday School / Bible Study Teachers

If you have a love for the Word of God, and the Lord has given you a gift of teaching, please prayerfully consider becoming involved in this ministry from its inception.

Usher Ministry

Do you love order?  If so, this is the ministry for you. Our beloved ushers bless us by keeping order in the church. Ushers are responsible for collecting the tithes and offerings, and assisting the congregation should anyone need a helping hand or encounter any difficulties during the service. If the Lord has given you a servant’s heart, prayerfully consider becoming a part of this ministry.

Visual Team Ministry

The Visual Team Ministry not only blesses the congregation by projecting the words to our praise songs during times of worship, but they also manage the visual equipment during the sermon.  Since many church systems are different, please know that if the Lord is leading you to explore opportunities in this ministry that you will need to receive training, and should have some prior experience with visual systems / software in a church environment.

Worship Team Ministry

If the Lord has blessed you with vocal or musical talents, please prayerfully consider exploring opportunities in this ministry. This ministry is not to highlight individual talents. We are seeking those with hearts for worship who want to glorify God and lead others into the courts of praise as part of a musical ensemble team.

Youth Ministry

If the Lord has given you a heart to teach and mentor the youth, please prayerfully consider becoming a part of this ministry from its inception.
